When I was a kid, I had to mark out the tic-tac-toe nine-square grid before playing OX games, remember!
This month we will play with glass sticks again. After arranging the grid lines, we put them into the furnace to make tack fuse (1st Firing) → full fuse (2nd Firing) The two pieces overlap and form
grid lines to naturally create small square spaces. These numerous small spaces will produce regular small bubbles after melting.
kiln-fired glass is often melted in layers to create color patterns and increase thickness. In order to show the skills of the work, it is necessary to enter and exit the kiln multiple times.
"Lamination" will inevitably produce unpredictable bubbles. These irregular bubbles are the melting properties of kiln-fired glass. They are inevitable and we welcome them because this is the display
of life when glass is melted at high temperatures!
Keep your eyes open! Take a closer look and you will see that the small bubbles are all crystal clear, and the regular bubbles of the "Magic Bubble Disk" take on a different look!
